Birth Of Srila Gopala Bhatta Goswami
Srila Gopal Bhatt Goswami was born in the year 1503 AD on the 13th Day of the dark moon in the month of Pausha. He lived in this world for 75 years. He was born into a Sri Vaishnava family in Tamil Lyengarin, Sri Rangam, and was the son of VyenkattaBhatta.Srila Gopal Bhatt Goswami was a Great Devotee of Laxmi Narayana.
Academic
He was an expert in Grammar, Poetry and began to study in Vedanta. He learned Sanskrit and excelled in learning the Bhakti-Sastras from his uncle Sri Prabuddhananda Saraswati. Sri Prabuddhananda Saraswati is the spiritual master of Gopal Bhatt Goswami. Srila Gopal Bhatt Goswami Stayed with his parents, who were Great Devotees of Sri Sampradaya, and served them until they stayed on Earth.
First Meeting With Chaitanya Mahaprabhu
In 1510 AD, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu went to Sri Rangam, Located in South India. VyenkattaBhatta( Gopal Bhatt Goswami’s Father) asked Chaitanya Mahaprabhu if he could stay at his residenceasChaturmasayawas around the corner.ChaitanyaMahaprabhuagreeand resided at his residence for 4 months. When Chaitanya Mahaprabhu visited Gopal Bhatt Goswami was only a child. Mahaprabhu used to call the boy and give him the remnants of his Prasada. By giving him his Prasad he was Blessing Gopal Bhatt to become a great Acharya in the future. After spending 4 months when Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s time to go Gopal Bhatt Goswami Fainted at the feet of Mahaprabhu.

FIRST INSTRUCTION – Stay at home and serve your Mother and Father. After they departed this world, Gopal Bhatt Goswami went to Sri Vrindavan Dham and stayed there in the Association of Srila Rupa Goswami and Sanatana Goswami. Gopal Bhatt Goswami is one of the Six Goswami of Vrindavan.
SECOND INSTRUCTION – When Chaitanya Mahaprabhu heard about Gopal Bhatt Goswami’s arrival in Vrindavan he sent with the messenger Kaupinand outer garments of the Baba Ji order, to be given to Gopal Bhatt Goswami as a symbol of his renunciation. He accepted this with Great Happiness and considered it to be the Lord’s Mercy and Prasad.
THIRD INSTRUCTION – After Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s Disappearance Srila Gopal Bhatt Goswami felt intense separation from the Lord. To receive his devotees, the Lord Instructed Gopal Bhatt Goswami in a Dream – If you want My Darshan then make a trip to Nepal.

Found Shaligram Shila’s
Before going to Vrindavan he went to Gandaki River and there 11 Shila’s came into his bathing pot while he was taking a dip in the sacred river. He was confused and put them back into the river. However, when the same Shila came twice in his bathing pot, he understood it to be desired of the Lord that he should worship them, and therefore, he took them with him and continued worshiping them while residing under various trees in Vrindavan.
When one wealthy devotee came to Vrajaand was offered various beautiful clothes, and jewelry for the deities of the different Goswami’s and also given beautiful ornaments and dresses. Srila Gopal Bhatt Goswami lamented not being able to beautifully decorate his Lord, as his worshipable shillas were all around and did not show the divine bodily feature of the Lord. Thinking in this way and going to sleep, in the morning one of the Shillas had transformed into a deity of Tribhang Lalita Shyamsunder. Being the combined form of Sri Madanmohan, Sri Govinda, and Sri Gopinath.

After that Srila Gopal Bhatt Goswami was overwhelmed with transcendental ecstasy and along with the other Goswami, he performed a grand appearance festival for Sri Radha Raman, after which he decorated his divine form with the Ornaments and clothes that he had received. And many sweets are offered for the Lord’s Pleasure. The desire of the pure devotee is surely fulfilled by the Lord.
Srila Gopal Bhatt Goswami is famous for establishing the worship of Sri Radha Raman, a unique – self-manifested deity form of Krishna.

Samadhi
In 1578 AD on the sixth day of the dark moon, he left this world behind and entered into the external pastime of the Lord.
His Samadhi mandir is present next to the temple of Sri Radha Raman, where one can go to take his darshan and receive his blessings for advancement in spiritual life.
