All citizens observed a fast on this holy Ekadashi very strictly and were careful to obey all the rules and regulations.

First, the King and his main sage had water on the wood and a fine canopy, shoes, gold, and diamonds. They provided ruby, pearls, and aromatic incense.

Then they worshipped Sir Phalguna in these prayers. Then they prayed to the Amarakii tree: the descendant of Sri Brahma. Amarakii, you can destroy all kinds of sins. Accept our respect and these gifts. O Amarakii, you are certainly in the form of Brahman and were once worshipped by Lord Rama Chandra himself. Therefore, those who surround you will soon be freed from all sins.

After offering these wonderful prayers, King Chitraratha and his subject woke up all night to pray and worship following the ordinance governing the sacred Ekadashi fasting rally.

They experienced the Benefits of Ekadashi fasting and worshipped Lord Vishnu in a beautiful forest lit by many lamps. The hunter hid nearby and wondered what this extraordinary sight was in front of him.
